Dear Players and Parents,
It is with sincere regret that we announce Green Point Netball Club will only be accepting full (blocked) team registrations for the 2025 season.
Green Point have offered blocked team registration to teams 14 years and above for a number of years now & this has proven to be successful, requiring less resources from a committee perspective. This decision has not been taken lightly, however, current committee resources do not support individual registration.
For the 2025 season, registrations will be limited to full (blocked) teams. Teams must self-organise and register as a unit. We strongly suggest registering 8 players per junior team to cover injury, illness or holidays.
More information regarding how to register a team will be sent shortly. We encourage that if you would like to remain playing with Green Point you start to communicate with your netball friends on forming a team. Full team registration will open in Mid-December & close in late January 25.
Each team will also need to nominate a Coach & Manager, who will need to arrange their own umpires for each week’s games, and a representative from the team to join the committee.
Additionally, the club’s future beyond 2025 is uncertain unless new committee members step forward to fill key roles.
Our volunteer-led club has faced challenges, including declining membership and difficulties recruiting volunteers for essential operations. Many of our current committee members will step down at the end of 2025, leaving critical positions unfilled.
Without new volunteers to sustain the club, we risk closure.
To ensure the continuation of junior teams in 2026 and beyond, we urgently need new committee members to shadow existing volunteers in 2025.

- President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Registrar
- Umpires Convenor
- Uniforms & Gear Coordinator (can be separate roles)
- Social Media Manager
